Internships with AVDA

Families trapped in the cycle of family violence seek out AVDA's intervention at precisely those moments when the danger—and the emotional, mental and physical turmoil—are at their height. Given the stakes, AVDA's belief is that such circumstances require the intervention of trained professionals with extensive training in the dynamics of domestic abuse.

Volunteer opportunities to work directly with clients are therefore limited to graduate students currently enrolled in accredited programs in specific disciplines.
